2022: Wiley award for the paper "Framing effects on the COVID-19 See-Saw" (co-authored with Mattia Guidi, Sergio Martini and Pierangelo Isernia) as top cited article 2020-2021 in the Swiss Political Science Review.
2022: Department Award for Research Excellence for the article "Sharing the burden in a free riders’ land: The EU migration and asylum policy in the views of public opinion and politicians", co-authored with Linda Basile and published in the European Journal of Political Research in 2020.
